Venice is the city for lovers. Hold hands, steal kiss or two, sit in the street café, sip espresso and watch people. Feed the beautiful pigeons in St.
My husband and I visited Venice for 5 days at the end of our honeymoon. We stayed for 4 nights and had a totally wonderful time & wished we could stay longer. The most beautiful and peaceful place we've stayed in. There is no cars only gondola riding and walking.
Best time is to go after breakfast it helps to burn off some of the many thousand calories you will eat each day. Venice is built on 117 small islands, and has some 150 canals and 409 bridges (only three of which cross the Grand Canal). It is fairytale to take a moonlight venice gondola ride and have a kiss there.
We stayed at the Venice hotel Ca' Maria Adele . This is a stylish and romantic small hotel. It is really a very charming. This location is in our favorite part of Venice, but it is a 15 minute lovely walk from our hotel in Venice to San Marko. Overlooking a pretty canal with the Grand canal also in view. Hotel gave us a Venice map which was extremely helpful and all the staff helped with any questions. This apartment was very clean and to a high standard and of course air –conditioned. They brought breakfast to room every morning at specified time with anything from muesli to omelets, bacon, cheeses ham, juices, and espresso. Ideal for those looking for an intimate set up with emphasis on stylish surroundings – for just married.
We explored the venice shops along the sides of Rialto Bridge one of three that across the Grand Canal. We had a Murano tour. A piece of this imaginable murano glass made a souvenir to take a home as a moment of our honeymoon. But we did not remembered for relaxation without any excursion. Throughout the city there are many fine venice restaurants. We liked Giardinetto Di Severino with it`s great authentic Venetian cuisine, The most expensive meal, that we have had in Venice it was the waterside venice restaurant directly across Grand Canal and St.Maria del Salute it seems to me it was Gritti Palace Hotel. But we had there fantastic meal. Wherever I explored Venice I had a wonderful time with my new beloved spouse. I am hoping we might return next year.

Venice Italy is one of the world's most romantic cities and a great choice for a romantic Italy honeymoon.
Venice offers a large selection of venice hotel rooms and finding venice accommodations is not difficult, except during certain parts of the year. If you plan to attend the Carnival in February or the Venice Film Festival in early September, then you should book your hotel early. You need to plan your romantic honeymoon at least 3 weeks before you go if you want to find the lowest rates on airfare.
In late afternoon after checking in the hotel we had got our first dinner in Venice. We had 3 courses – venice dinner was a turkey club panini with some wicked dressing and sweet wine that our waiter recommended, some great cappuccino with little cookies. We spent 2 hours at the Venice Cafe Florian in the middle of St Mark’s Square, listening, eating, watching people and soaking it all in. St Marks Square is beautiful, when we went it was buzzing with people, orchestras and winged creatures. To eat in the square is rather expensive.
St Marks Square is the famous hub of Venice housing both St Marks Basilica and Doge's Palace. We saw the Basilica and Doge’s Palace, the museum unlike any other in whole world. We went around the corner and saw Bridge of Sighs, there we stood hand in hand on its arched back
